Quality Assurance Officer

Kilcoy Pastoral Company Limited (KPC) are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer with solid people skills to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the operations team in implementing and monitoring Quality Assurance programs to ensure all products meet legislative specifications, standards and customer expectation.

Roster:

  • Will be based on KPC’s Green/Gold lifestyle roster, which includes weekend work.
  • 2 weeks of 4days on + 4days off and 2 weeks of 3days on 3days off - (5am – 5pm)
  • Night shift is also an option

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to);

  • Ensure operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements though partnering with the production 
  • Document control and report on the Non-Conformance and Corrective Action requirements within the parameters of the Quality Management System.
  • Undertake Quality systems including internal audit, HACCP  and respond to customer complaints.
  • Ensure all staff are aware and comply with the necessary requirements of all Quality Management Systems.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment 
  • Qualifications in HACCP and Quality Management
  • Experience of AusMeat and Halal certification highly regarded.
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility as well as a commitment to company values and the organization.
  • Proficiency in computer operations including word processing, spreadsheets, email and Internet using appropriate software packages
  • Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow through
